The Darke County Sheriff’s Office
responded to a report of the torched sedan in the evening
hours of Dec. 8, 2013. It was discovered the red 2012 Toyota
Camry was reported stolen early that day out of the City of
Greenville. An investigation revealed the fire was
intentionally set.

Darke County Sheriff's Office detectives
are currently seeking any information that will lead to an
arrest in a reported armed robbery that occurred April 13,
2013 in Union City, OH.
According to the victim statement, an elderly woman at the
Morris Trailer Park, located at 503 Beamsville-Union City
Road in Union City, OH, was reportedly robbed a knife point
by a masked intruder. The masked man entered the woman's
trailer and demanded money and narcotic (Fentanyl) patches.
The man then held the elderly woman's hands down and put the
large Bowie knife to her throat, once again demanding the
prescription pain patches and money. He later located what
he wanted and fled the residence.
The suspect in this case faces a
number of felony charges and officers need someone to step
up and help solve this case.

The Versailles PD are
trying to ID a suspect from a theft at the Marathon Station
in Versailles. He has been spotted several times after the
fact wearing the same clothing as shown in photo below.
He is reported to steal the Vodka after
purchasing another bottle and has been spotted drinking the
Vodka behind the station as soon as he leaves.
Authorities believe he probably lives
outside of Versailles, possibly as far away as Sidney.

On Thursday, March 29, 2012 at
approximately 5:07 a.m., officers from the Greenville, Ohio
Police Department responded to 113 East Third Street,
Fraternal Order of Eagles, on a reported break-in. An
unknown suspect forced entry into the building and stole a
safe. The suspect caught on video is a white male,
approximately 6’0” in height, with a thin build. The
suspect’s vehicle, also captured on video, is dark in color.
Still images of the suspect are available upon request. The
safe was later recovered in the 200-block of 13th Street in
Greenville.
